Jazz Mouthpieces
The Morgan Jazz Model Mouthpieces are traditional style standard mouthpieces with round chambers and low rollover baffles. (Clarinet models have no baffle). These are made to reflect the styles of popular traditional mouthpieces from the 1940's through 1960's. This model is made of a pure 100% hard rubber formula. The mouthpiece castings for our Alto and Tenor Saxophone and Jazz Clarinet are created exclusively for the Morgan Company using proprietary Morgan tooling. The Soprano models also use a pure hard rubber formula but castings are produced by another reputable source. All mouthpiece castings, whether proprietary or outsourced, are completely faced and finished by hand.
The Alto and Tenor Saxophone models are available in Medium (M), New York (NY), Florida (FL-Tenor Only)and Large(L) chamber sizes. See scale below for tone qualities for each chamber.
For Soprano Saxophone, the Jazz model comes in both a standard and a large chamber size. Jazz Clarinet models are standard chamber only.
