Sneak Peek!! Morgan 'Kind of Blue' alto saxophone mouthpiece is in the works and coming soon!

After witnessing what Morgan Mouthpiece Company was able to accomplish with the “Dry Martini” alto model sax mouthpiece, alto virtuoso and Downbeat Magazine Top 5 alto saxophone poll winner Jim Snidero offered us a new opportunity as well as a challenge!  That was, to create an exact copy of his original Cannonball Adderley alto mouthpiece and make it play as well or better than the original. We believe that our master crafting expertise along with Jim's experience, knowledge and multiple testing cycles; we have nailed it! 

Jim Snidero is a grammy award winner, composer and author who also happens to be the owner of the original Cannonball Adderley’s famous mouthpiece that was used on the Miles Davis “Kind of Blue” Album.  This mouthpiece was also featured on many of his other albums and recordings.  

Production is just getting underway; product should be on the market sometime this month (December 2024).  This model is milled from pure organic hard rubber and hand-crafted by the Morgan team of expert craftsmen who have over 100 years' experience combined!  More details, photos, and information will be coming soon, but for now, here's a sneak peek of a couple of videos.
