The Morgan C Melody Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece was designed specifically for the C Melody saxophone by Morgan craftsman Erik Greiffenhagen and approved by Morgan founder Ralph Morgan.
Unlike mouthpieces that adapt or shorten a standard Bb tenor saxophone design, the Morgan C Melody features an interior specifically designed for the acoustical requirements of the C-pitched tenor saxophone. The result is a responsive, free-blowing mouthpiece with a warm, sweet tone and excellent compatibility with these unique vintage instruments.
Each mouthpiece is individually handcrafted from Morgan's proprietary hard rubber and finished by experienced Morgan craftsmen using traditional hand-finishing techniques.

This mouthpiece brought an old Buescher True Tone melody saxophone, made in 1920, back to life, with a wonderful tone and good intonation. The quality is very nice.
This is a great mouth piece. It makes it easy to tune the sax and it plays like a dream. I love it!!
I acquired a Morgan 4C mouthpiece for my vintage Wurlitzer American C tenor saxophone, which required only a straightforward reapplication of a cork on the neck to ensure a secure fit. I am thoroughly impressed with the tone and responsiveness of my Wurlitzer after the modification. Now I can play songs without having to transpose!

I am very glad to play this mouthpiece on my Conn - C-melody Tenorsaxophone. It gives me a better sound and better intonation and more flexibility.

Hi,
I received few days ago, my new C melody 6 mouthpiece and I tried it on my Buescher.
I also compared it with the Selmer Soloist that I usually use...
It's terrible, very homogeneous, no tuning problems except those that we usually encounter on the alto or tenor (very slight )...
So, a huge thank you for this awesome mouthpiece... it's exactly what I was waiting for.
I just have to blow it...
Congratulations for this "racing"mouthpiece !!
