"I think I had it in the back of my mind that I wanted to sound like a dry martini.” — Paul Desmond
The Morgan Dry Martini Model is designed by Erik Grieffenhagen. Erik has spent decades studying and copying Gregory mouthpieces. He has custom-made this style of mouthpiece for many customers in the past. A few years ago, we acquired several antique original M.C. Gregory Mouthpiece molds and cores. This acquisition included original cores for Gregory 18 model alto mouthpiece. Using his knowledge of original mouthpieces and by studying the original molds, Erik developed the Dry Martini alto.

GREAT mouthpiece! Sounds so clean.
Hello,
I have ordered a Dry Martini 18-6 recently in the hope of going toward a cool jazz tone and remaining in a 6 tip opening were I feel good. In fact, I am going slowing toward that goal but it is by itself a very good mouthpiece.
Well done and so easy to play!
This mouthpiece is my new preferred mouthpiece!
Thanks!
The mouthpiece was dispatched and received very quickly. It is an exceptionally well crafted mouthpiece. Yes, it does help you to produce a Paul Desmond sound - very sweet , elegant and warm with enough edge. An exceptional mouthpiece. Thank you.
This mouthpiece has excellent response and is very easy to play. It feels comfortable and controlled, and overall I think it’s a very good mouthpiece.
I've only had it for two days, so still trying to match a reed for a good sound. I like it so far, but not crazy about how tight it is on the neck cork. Compresses even more than my Meyer 5M. Oh, well, that's what cork grease is for! 👍
