WOW! Dear Friends, Playing with the Classical 3C has been a revelation. The clarity of tone is amazing. It has a crispness and focus, but not a brightness, that was almost entirely missing from the S-80 C* that I usually played before. I have been playing the tenor for 64 years, and I am embarrassed to admit that I may have been using the wrong mouthpiece for almost that entire lifetime. Thank you for the terrific product.

Great experience, totally professional, polite, communication from start to finish. I just received my mouthpiece today and cant wait to try this beautifully handcrafted mouthpiecepiece on my horn. Having dealt with Eric in past years, and experiencing his superb refacing work on several mouthpieces of mine, I am anticipating only the best from this new Morgan 6C tenor mouthpiece.

"I feel like everyone who plays a vintage horn, who's tone concept is a deep, rich, and flexible dark palette, should be playing on a large chamber Morgan mouthpiece! Both the classical chamber and large chamber jazz pieces ("8" tip openings for each) feel like they were custom-made for my 1920's saxophones, offering all the depth and projection I could possibly ask for, and allowing me to be in control of my own artistic expression! These mouthpieces are works of art. Perfection! With so many players now recognizing the value of the early vintage saxophones, I feel it is important that folks can find affordable and high quality mouthpiece options that work well with their old horns, offering better intonation and a richer timbre rooted in the bottom-end of the tone, without sacrificing brilliance and clarity. What I love most about these pieces (beyond their deep, chocolatey timbres) is the way they FEEL to play. I feel the resonance in my whole body, the reed, the horn, the room -- all of the molecules in my house seem to dance in ecstasy to the sound of these mouthpieces paired with my vintage horns. I am able to play from a whisper to a roar, full tone or subtone, with clear harmonic complexity and ease. Multiphonics are especially clear with these mouthpieces, for you contemporary wizards out there! Thanks Morgan!"

This is a great mouthpiece. I'm making a return to tenor playing after about 10 years off. The mouthpiece has a nice, dark sound. Intonation is good. It was a little more open than I anticipated, actually, but it's not a bad thing, just an observation. Am really enjoying playing it and will purchase the soprano mouthpiece when I get my soprano.

I play a Morgan Jazz MLL 8 (now called the Florida model), and I love it. It's similar to a Slant Signature sound and has its own thing going on.
That said, I play in some very quiet situations, and I wanted a mouthpiece that could effortlessly blend at low volumes. The Morgan Classical 5C meets that need perfectly. The tone is warm and round, and it blows easily at low volumes.
