I ordered both the Jazz 6 and Vintage 6 sopranos. Selected the Jazz because it was slightly more open/better match to my preferences and slightly warmer, my objective versus my current "vintage" Selmer Super Session H (way powerful but way bright). The Vintage was excellent too, very hard to choose between the two. I used Vandoren traditional Blue Box 2.5's (scraped down a bit, my habit) and by chance some Blue Box 2's straight out of the box that worked great. Also tried various ligatures - Rovner, Rico-H, Yamaha, SAXXAS. Stock Rovner that comes with the Jazz model works fine. Each ligature seemed to have the same effect on color and response regardless of the mouthpiece, so not a big deal relative to selecting the mouthpiece itself.

I am very much enjoying my Morgan Jazz soprano mouthpiece. It it everything I could have hoped for and the quality of customer service is rather exceptional. Thank you again

I play a 6j and I love it. (I also play a 7M jazz alto piece) Morgans are the best I have played in 40 years. Control, tone, intonation, dynamics... All there with this one. Mine's about 20 years old but the quality of these never changes. Can't go wrong!

Of course, mouthpiece discussion is purely subjective. I own 2 Jazz Large Chamber and an Excalibur EL for tenor. I love the soprano Jazz, so I received a second one / spare (I'm clumsy and have dropped mp's). The soprano Jazz has a nice warmth and full tone with just enough bite. I also own the soprano large chamber, but it makes me work too hard.
One thing that is not subjective is this company's customer service. They consistently deliver outstanding customer service. Thank you.
